Bail Reform Is Now Law — A Step Forward for Safer Communities

Bill C-14 is a major step forward for public safety, strengthening bail and sentencing laws for repeat violent offenders involved in crimes such as auto theft, extortion, home invasions, firearms offences, and organized crime. Brampton’s advocacy helped shape this reform, ensuring the realities facing residents, victims’ families, and frontline police officers were brought directly to decision-makers in Ottawa.

X-Ray Scanner Deployed to Combat Auto Theft
