Diwali, known as the Festival of Lights, is a five-day celebration that symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness. Celebrated by Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and Buddhists across the world, the City of Brampton is excited to celebrate the rich culture and traditions.
The City hosted its first-ever Diwal Mela, a community celebration with live music and performances from local and international artists. 20,000 plus attendees enjoyed an evening of performances from headliner Malkit Singh, family-friendly activities, delicious food and of course Canada’s largest dazzling Diwali fireworks display.
