Gurbax Singh Malhi, the former MP for Bramalea-Gore-Malton and the first turban wearing Sikh in the western hemisphere to be elected into a national legislature been awarded a ceremonial Key to the City of Brampton in recognition for his outstanding contribution to Brampton and Canada.
