The One Love: Hurricane Melissa Relief for Jamaica initiative brings together residents, businesses, and community partners to support families devastated by the storm. Mayor Patrick Brown emphasized the city’s deep ties to Jamaica, noting that when the Jamaican community suffers, “Brampton stands up, not bystanders, but neighbours helping neighbours.”

Public artwork honouring the legacy of Premier Bill Davis unveiled

Brampton honoured former Ontario Premier Bill Davis with a new monument at PAMA near City Hall. Titled Contours of Connection, the artwork was chosen through a provincial competition and features abstract forms that reveal Davis’s silhouette or the words “educate” and “inspire,” reflecting his impact on education.
