X-Ray Scanner Deployed to Combat Auto Theft

The federal government and Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc announced the deployment of a container scanner in the Greater
Toronto Area (GTA). This tool will significantly aid in our ongoing efforts to combat the scourge
of auto thefts in Brampton.

the City of Brampton, focusing on tangible solutions to our pressing challenges.

Peel Police Auto-Theft Unit Doubles

Mayor Brown says that doubling the number of Police Officers in the Auto-Theft Unit shows our local commitment to solving a national problem with other levels of government, the CBSA and auto manufacturers.
